ALESIS PERKPAD KICK DRUM INPUT works. The Percpad input needs to be a momentary non-latching input.
An example of this is a keyboard sustain pedal. yes ! it works !

I would read the manual on both machines and figure it from there. Footpedals just send a signal equal to an audio signal. I've connected walkmans to input footswitches before and when I play it, it triggers like a footswitch.
