Fantom X6 sampling/think of getting rid of the MPC

But the chord bank is extensive on the fantoms. Not sure bout other ones but XR has rolled chords, up down and alt. It has also japan, balinese, blues, spanish, gypsy scales as well. So could do any style i guess. 64 chord forms total, part of the appregiator section.

I have JJOS 3.18XL too and I didn't know it had chord bank?, thats amazing so similar in that video?.

Also the Sonic Cell looks really dope, I don't understand what the difference is between that and XR since the Sonic Cell is meant to be a Fantom in a rack?.

sonic cell is not meant to be in a rack. It is meant to be on the table beside you when you are using a computer. It was developed so that you computer would not waste processing power. Thus everything is in the box and you just call up the sounds you need.
The differences are that the sonic cell does not have sampling, chords and arpeggios. It is just the fantom X and a few G waveforms. However the sonic cell does not have as many sounds as the fantom X it is especially lacking drum sounds. People tend to put an srx card in it that has drums like the drum card, supreme dance, ultimate keys, studio or world. Sonic cell does have more than enough sounds though.
It is also inexpensive and no longer made.
