yeah... and no loading time whatsoever once you've assigned the samples to pads... it plays samples direct from compactflash with no latency at all... i sold mine only to downgrade to the sp-303 for lo-fi reasons that only most 90's hiphop heads seem to be able to relate to.

hot dam MPC+SP-404 looks like an awesome combination for all kinds of purposes.. sp404-sx looks to work with 32GB sd card...cant imagine EVER needing that much ..could do with a few more outputs tho - but you cant have it all right?
