I have an mpc 2000, and i use protools 8. I have the mpc working fine in protools. of course i got it hooked up via midi cables, and i can make PT start, stop, rec etc. I cant however get my mpc to trigger any of my vsts. how do i go about doing this. I have tried a few things already:
i normally load up an instrument track for my vst. like a moog keybrd for example, and i hit my pads on the mpc and nothing happens.
i even made an aux and midi track (even though instrument track is basically both of these combined) just to see if that would work, and of course it didnt.
so thats telling me i need to do something else in PT, or do something for a particular vst, or something needs to be done on my mpc. Or hell maybe all 3!
