Ssaving sequnces and programs

For some reason when I save sequences and the load the sequences back in to memory, the programs assigned to each of the parts of tracks doesn't get assigned. I always have to go back to the sequence to manually assign midi outputs and the programs to all of the parts in the tracks. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but this is starting to be a huge issue.

Do I need to assign program numbers to the programs? I wouldn't think so.

Thanks Lamp! I'm guessing I need to learn how to use Multi's? Coming from the 5000, I guess I've been spoiled. Sounds like I can learn how to build multis or just save entire memory to a folder as a short cut.

Great advice! I save all and I go back and save my multis and programs until so I can make and update my edits. Some advice, save your stuff and cut the mpc off. Leaving it on will kill it. Take it from me.

Are you saying just leaving the MPC powered on for extended periods of time will "kill it"?

Yes, sometimes my MPC will shut and STAY OFF for an extended amount of time after being on for a few days.
