Hi there. I'm a new MPC 1000 user and I'm having trouble with loading sequences that I saved. I made a couple sequences using a mixture of the MPC's stock shaker sounds and some kick noises that I loaded from my CF card and chopped accordingly. I then saved them to the CF card and turned of my machine.

When I turned it back on, all the sequences were there, and I loaded them accordingly. However the sequences didn't have any of the sounds I myself made, but still had the infortmation for the MPC's stock sounds with the rest of the sequence information (bars, tempo, etc).

I assume I messed up, and I just want to know how to prevent this from happening again.

THANKS!

Yep, all ur sounds and files need to be in the same folder. Mpc's can't read across folders so save every project in the same folder like crossings says.

Alright thank you guys!

I'm having a new problem now...

When i load a program after turning on the MPC, the samples are in the incorrect tune.

So, for example, I loaded in a sample, copied it on several pads and each pad has a separate tuning to it, and then I saved the program. But once I turn my MPC back on and load up the program, all the samples are around 3 tunings off upon (they are all higher pitched). It's easy to fix I just have to retune them all but its really annoying and I'd like it to stop. Does this happen to anybody else? I'm using the free JJOS if that helps. THANKS!
