They are meant to be mono.

Have you gone through the different settings in the Mix Control software? I can pretty much guarantee the problem lies there.

"stereo out on the mic "

this has nothing to do with a mic, why did you mention "mic"

And I'm sure the mains outs on mpc are mono. I think he gave you the correct cables.

Not trying to be mean here but Matt you need to actually give a fuk and try a bit harder.

We'll help you along the way but you need to help yourself too and do what you can first and foremost.

trying to but one thing i read says mono cables then i read another and it says stereo there are too many conflicting things out there....and that was a typo mic should have said MPC (excuse the sarcasm but common sense would have told you that)

And I appreciate the help, think I need to stop relying on forums to be honest coz i think it just makes you lazy.

So just going to have a crack on and get it done no more questions asked!

Really, common sense huh? Nope, I didn't see "mpc" in that at all, why because people in the past and still do route mic inputs and outputs everywhere they aren't designed to go.

1/4 out of mpc is mono.
1/4 into mpc is mono. Done. Forget about stereo cables.

It's cool if you reply, just gotta get to troubleshooting also because when someone starts asking to the point where others are continually doing your basic trouble shooting you'll tend to get more and more **** up replies from people, it's like that in many forums I've visited.

Ok cool I see where your coming from and I totally see what you mean on people end up doing the basic troubleshooting.

Going to have a good crack though once I get in and like you say stop relying on other peeps.

thanks for little 1/4 cable note.....its crystal clear now

So found the problem, it was the setting in the SaffireMix software.

Thanks all for your help.
