I think you guys misunderstand.

I don't make 'm. It's a one off. I've discussed it with my local furniture maker a while back. Type of wood, leather, color, type paint, shape, padding of the armrest etc.

It realy is nothing special, but it's a gonna cost me.....alot! Mostly labour.

The problem will be that unlike the 60 if you add something like that it's going to sit up above the unit.
The 60 has a recessed cradle so it sits at a comfortable height.

I didn't think about that, but he did. He asked how high I wanted it above the top panel.

I want it just about above, but i don't want to have less padding. The hight of the wood and type of padding wil be adjusted accordingly. I don't want to end up resting my arm on the metal.

Also the side panels are going to be streight and thinner. He could mill the wood exactly like the 60 for easy grabbing, but I like the slimmer look of the 5000 without the side panels.

Not sure when i'm going to do it. I love making music, but I also love gaming. Streetfighter in particular. Hori has released new arcadesticks which will be available in Europe soon. Because of limited availability( and the 5000 mod is merely cosmetic) I must have 'm!! Those who play streetfighter understand :D

I should have picked those to learn the game, but Dahlsim, one of the most hated to play against:), is till this day my most favorite.

^ Yup the long leg kicks are a pain to deal with. Not to mention you have to hit a million buttons to do his, " Yoga Fire " move.

Another tough guy to play with was the boxer who ONLY THREW PUNCHES!!!
WTF am I going to do with six punch buttons? LOL

Zangeif was slow as hell & his spinning pile driver looked cool as hell but also tough to pull off...... Shit now I'm gonna have to play the game.
