not an ASR 10 but i'm a long time ASR X & X Pro user. same guts, minus the keyboard. what's your question, maybe i can help?

i have the same setup an mpc2000xl and an asr-88. But i am a newbie so my help will be minimal.
I used to make beats but now I write music.

I got some questions answered already, but I still have some more. Is
there a screen where it says how much sample memory in bytes you
have used up? Have you guys traveled with your keyboard on a plane? If
you have what kind of case did you use? Oh yeah, I don't find the
sequencer that bad. What is it lacking to you? That brings up another
question, how do you copy a one bar loop to say eight?

System>Memory Manager to see free space.
Never took mine on a plane.
The ASR X sequencer is very sloppy. Step editing is so annoying that most people don't even bother with it. The ASR 10's sequencer however, is much better.
