i have a 3K. do any of you know what i can use to make programs from samples on my laptop?

sampling them straight in is my plan, but the work flow boost of doing on the laptop would be great.

you have a mac? havent tried mpc pgm maker, but ive tried this MPC Pad 187 app. you can find below

http://www.mybunnyhug.com/software/

says its for 500, 1000, and 2500, but it worked OK for 2KXL. by OK i mean dont expect everything to line up. just used it a couple times because of that. give it a whirl!

Never worked for me. I am using Macbook Pro/ 2009 running Snow Leopard. MPC 2000xl gives "can't find wave file" message while trying to load the programs.

I got a '07 MBP w/ 10.6.8 and it works great!

Are you putting the .PGM and all the related .WAV files on the disk?

Does it work for the 2000xl?

Yes it does you just have to make sure all the sounds have been converted to 16bit before dumping it into the program maker.

And for that i use a program called "MAX" and you can DL it from here
http://sbooth.org/Max/

And i also use the PGM maker as well
MpcPgmMaker(OSX) 1.0.7
