INSTALLING JJ OS

So ive been contemplating the switch to JJos but I wanna know if I install a new os is that gonna erase everything on my memory card? i wanna know so i can get a back up hard drive if I need to so i dont lose my stuff.

Nothing on your memory card will get erased. Just load the .bin file on your memory card and follow the instructions. The original OS will get erased but you can go back anytime by downloading the original OS and follow the same instructions.

After installation you can erase the OS file from your memory card, leaving everything else on it that is.
