Ren is still vapor... when it will condense in a marketed product there will be enough evidence to judge.
DBeat PRO comes fully equipped in daw/vsts/sounds, integrates all you can need into a self-contained tool and goes the opposite route Ren does.
Having a stand-alone MPC means also having access to an external daw to record in, let it be an hardware recorder or a pc/mac rig.
Considering the Ren, the pc/mac rig is needed to basically turn on the MPC, and you should add that price to the cost of the daw and commercial vsts one planes to use.
It also looks like the DBeat pro is a very clever and streamlined machine, where the integration of the hardware with a custom install of the OS allows for a very productive workflow: one should assure himself to tune OS/DAW properly to match the same integration with a Ren.
On the other side putting that much effort in tuning your studio pc/mac, your daw, accurately patching it
will pay you big time even in a stand-alone MPC+DAW context.
What I mean is that Ren/Maschine/Spark and all of that gimmik looks to me like offering a short-cut to a better integrated studio. Not that the effort is worth any penny asked but it surely appeal those who actually need a short-cut to foster their productivity as those who believe to need it.
And yes Sally, for those looking for a all in one scenario, DBeat solution could be a better choice. Not for those already having enough I/O, pads, daw, and fxs to go. For those gear-addicted **** is not a good choice.
No other tool is good as no more drug is good to a drug-addict.
