Im gunna do a little run thru for the people who don't know how to do some of this yet.
Everyone else, PLEASE go post somewhere else... We don't need a thousand comments like "DUH>>> I KNEW THAT", and all that garbage. If you have something CONSTRUCTIVE to add, or know some other cool stuff to teach. please feel free to add.

this thread is for people that DONT know this stuff yet and have questions or comments.
AUTOCHROMATIC TUNING:
To begin:
1: take a single note. (preferable a piano note, or a short sound (1-2 seconds max) that has a single tone pitch (say middle c on a keyboard) and load or sample it.
2: go to trim and set the start point
3: go to parameters (shift+6) screen and assign the note to a pad [IN DRUM 1].
4: press AUTO using the F button underneath it.
5: name your program "piano", pitch to 35/A01 and press DO IT.
6: Go to Main Screen.
You now have a piano at your disposal... but only two octaves (24 steps).
TIP: OCTAVES**************
Copy your original sample using open window.
1: use "sound 2" or the original sound's copy and press the F button for parameters
2: detune to -120[
3: go to parameters screen (shift+6) and assign "sound 2" to a pad [IN DRUM 2].
4: press AUTO using the F button underneath it.
5: name this one "piano 2".
6: assign this one to 35/A01 as well.
Now you have two programs that each have an octave, one on drum 1 and one on drum two.
THATS LESSON ONE KIDS.
Play around with all variations of pitch and key assignment to master this trick.
