Ok so i've been having this problem I REALLY need you guys to help me solve,
So I purchased an mpc 1000 and it had jjos 4.99 installed on it, along with the 128 ram upgrade, It has been working great for a while, but a while ago it started having this problem. When i try and load a sample to a pad, It gives me a quick "loading" thing, and then puts the sample in the "Save" screen, on the left side, life if i wanted to save it as a program, but it doesn't put the sample on a pad. This means I CAN'T USE THE MPC. Even if i try and save the samples as a program, it won't let me.

PLEASE HELP ME I WOULD BE FOREVER GRATEFUL.
If you have any questions PLEASE ASK.
I really need to see if this can be fixed.

Thanks

aaand i'll repeat........

you have to assign each sample to a pad manually. create your own program. then save that.

this is all covered in the manual... you're not really off to a great start here... good luck.

Ok i know this is a repost sorry :( but i really need your help,
And i CAN'T assign the pads thats what i'm saying,
When i go to a sample in the load screen and click "do it" it does not "do it"
it doesn't even give me the option of which pad to put the sample on, it just puts it in the save screen for me to save as a program, and even then i can't load the program even if i save it,

ok... this is covered in the manual... but once again, PROGRAMS DO NOT MAKE THEMSELVES... YOU MUST MANUALLY ASSIGN SAMPLES TO PADS...

load a sample

press the MAIN button to leave the LOAD menu

MODE + PAD 7 [program]

press a pad

assign a sample to a pad manually

that's how it's done.
