If you have a 4k just put more time into understanding it and what it can do to your sounds.
Much better than adding the 60 or 3k to it.

The 4k can sound grimy or knock like the 3k if you use the right methods, which is one of the beautiful things about the 4k.

Some dope 3k's in here....after looking for two years, I finally have found an LE and had the CASH to buy one(why I couldn't before....). Going to pick it up Saturday, and had an external card reader built for it, and it's on the way right now. Also has Forat wood sides....will post pics when I go pick it up. My main workhorse is the 4K...I've gotten pretty quick with it, but always wanted a 3000. Sometimes you just want to sit down and chop records up, u know? Anyways, I'm looking forward to it...keep postin those dope machines!

Finally after searching for two years, I finally had the cash to buy one when I found it. It's in excellent condition(near mint), and for some reason the wood panels look 100x doper in person than in pictures. My 4k is my workhorse....but it is no match in term of build quality to the 3000.
Specs:
3.11
32mb
CF Card Reader(external)

So here it is. My MPC 3000. I know, it looks like shit, but I will bring it back to its former glory (or new)! :D I bought it that way a few weeks ago. Allready did some minor cleaning, but far from finishing it...

The Plan:

-Replace some Buttons
-Make Wooden Panels
-Paint Faceplate and Buttons

Will post some pictures when its done :)

Greetings
Elias

By the way; thanks to all of you for contributing to this great forum!
And for those who read my thread about the weird behaviour; looks like the Ram was faulty...
