Are Mpc2000xl's hard to learn

Yo im about to cop a mpc2000xl, but some people was like it takes a long time to learn, and your very limited in sampling, so i was wondering if some of u 2000xl owners can give me some quick advice before i buy it

I would advise u to download the manual and have a read of that...See how much power is under the hood for urself. See if its what u want/need. Can it/will it help ur current setup.

MPC's are unique machines. Good for some but bad for others

not really. I heard people say they are too much to start with, but there not. Just get one and get the MPC tutor book and you will be ahead of most people that got one with no idea on what they wanted to do. But remember it takes time. I learn new ish all the time

son ihad mine like 2 or 3 months that mpc is my partner right there.
you dont even need that tutor that they sellin all u need is just the manual and some sounds

tutors book is only going to help you. it will still take time but the more information you have the better..

Not hard to learn at all. My advice, read through the manual, try out and touch every button(s) they are talking about and actually DO the stuff not just think about it and theorize. Hit "open window" on everything you hilghlight and take your time. After 2 weeks (1 hour everyday) you will have MORE than the basic knowledge and you will be 1up on MANY other newbie peeps who haven't read the manual (and there are many who haven't).

One thing I would add is the 2kxl aint hard to use......Loads of people find em easy to use...Its more a case of being able to master one. If you got wilpower and patience then your off to a good start.

Analyse what you wanna do and how an MPC will fit into your plans. It'l make things a lil clear from the get go
