The original mpc 3000 3.04 os

The Zip drive will be fine.
I'm not so sure about the memory as the advert only states MPC 2000/2000xl.

No way is a ZIP drive worth $129 plus shipping.

Yes they are but my point was if you are willing to spend $129 for a ZIP you should be looking at a CF Reader.

Arent those card readers more money and i havent found a site or video that shows the installation cause i dnt wanna mess up shit. Oh and i already ordered 2 16 mb chips for mpcstuff for 68 bucks but now i gotta figure out how to open the 3000 to install it.

The ram installed and i hope i did it right by just firmly pushing the chips in, i didnt hear no snap in place but i cant seem to pull them out so hopefully i did it right. I ordered a IOMEGA ZIP 250MB EXTERNAL DRIVE PARALLEL and not sure if this is a working zip for the 3000.


P.s. Do any 250mb iomega zip disks work with this drive

You need SCSI drives, not parallel.
The MPC's dont have a parellel port.

Oh dam well it showee a similar scso cord on it so I assumes it was the same. I meed to stop it before it ships

if you install max ram on mpc3000, please remove the standard 2mb ram board

I havent moved thay 2mb yet but already switch on the moc once,will it get damaged?
