16 levels on jj os

hi there guys. ive bought my mpc last week, and after a bit of research, i found out jj os. i decided to give it a go, so i just installed it. the thing is, im having a problems wth the 16 levels function. before upgrading the os, i was loading the sample, and then it would ask me to assign my sample to a pad, and then i would press 16 levels to get it running. with jj os, it doesnt ask me to assign the sample to a pad, it just loads, so i cant use the 16 levels. tried a few combinations, but i just cant seem to figure out a way to use it.

bottom line : can someone tell me how to use the 16 levels on jj os? :s
help would be very appreciated!

Press [WINDOW] in Load screen and see that you have "Sample assign to pad" turned on. Manual page for free jjos:

still cant use the 16 levels :s how do i do to use it? i really dont know, and thats one of the best functions on the mpc i would say..

Ok at this point I recommend you to read the Official MPC manual:

and then the changes / updates on JJOS (which ever version you've got. FREE is my best bet):

Read it while you're using your MPC and push/use things while you go.
