yeah, but does your MPC read all 16 gigs?
as far as I know, with jj, the most it will read is 4

im not sure how full it is, but i know its over def over 4 now, ive got so much shit on there, and it pulls it all up, i can go through everything,, maybe ill hook it up to the computer and see how much is really on there later..

almost seems like it would replace the hdm-10, but i don't think the the 1000 can dual boot?

there has got to be a way to get it off of there...i had a corrupted sd card once that had a shit ton of important pictures on it ...so i bought a sd card reader and i was able to retrieve the pics off it...i know that an sd card is way differant then a cf but its worth a google!!!

damn that sucks though...

i had my f3 button freak out on me for awhile and left it as is...every once in a while it would track - out of nowhere while in the main screen... well one day i was on the load screen and it freaked..well the f3 is the format key when in load/save...needless to say all gone (only 5 beats ) but damn its a gut wrenching feeling..


a habit i got into after that is upon completing a beat i immediatly copy the entire memory from the beat into a file on my computer...so that no matter what happens on that cf card i have it to put on another memory card...another thing i do is save all my beats to one memory card that i do not use...this is in case the computer ever dies...and lastly i back up to my external hard drive...so in total there are three copies of every beat i make...not counting the multitrack session and final recorded beat..


i know it seems like much but work, but it honestly takes about 5 min. after every song. i know how shitty that is...feel for you man!!!

Looking for the Kingston PC 133 144PIN CL3 SODIMM 256MB but cannot seem to find it anywhere.

Anyone got any recommendations where I can get it...even ebay has nothing.

Hello, i have just gotten myself an MPC1000, and i don't know nothing about anything.

When i got the MPC there was no Memory Card in it, so thats the way it is, that there don't follow any memory card with it?

So i have to get a new one. And i don't understand all of this, so could a kind person maybe give me a link to a good memory card on amazon.co.uk or if nothing can be found on there, from another site which ships to Europe, (cheap shipment would be preferred).
Or well just tell me what the time is, and a picture of it.

If anyone could do that, i would be very glad.

I saw in the first post that one of the Memory Cards CF who worked was DANE-ELEC CF 1 GB.

So my question is, will it work with 2gb card?

Yeah the Lexar platium 8gb works like a charm with my blue 1000.

thnking of swapping my 1000 for the xl for a bit to try it out. so im on the market for a sandisk 1 gb.

I just pulled an old compact flash card out of my camera and tried it in my MPC500...and it worked!

Sandisk Extreme III 2GB.

Running JJOS1 on MPC1000...think this 16G card will be compatible?

Just bought a SanDisk (Ultra) 16GB CF Card. Formatted in MPC - works fine.
I now have 2 SanDisk CF cards, 8 & 16 GB each.

MPC1k, JJOS (Free) 3.15.

Just bought a Kingston Elite Pro 133X 8GB (CF/8GB-S2). Somebody recommended these a while back in here. I've been using these in cameras and they're fine, but somehow - they just seem not to work with my MPC1k.

Screen hangs in the boot and if I enter the card and hit load -> format, it won't get far without running into trouble (hang). Been trying with different partition sizes, file systems etc. No luck.

So - not really a recommendation, quite the opposite.
