how to get album tracks to blend into each other

you know when u just let a record / cd play and the tracks just blend together well i was lookin for ideas on the best way to do this in my daw ... should i do this after mastering? or should i just get all the mixes in to one session on a daw and and then master them individually but as a whole track. always more then one way to skin a cat but i was wondering if anybody had experiences with this and can thro some ideas at me!

Leave no gaps at the start and end of a track. Let every song begin at zero and end with no blanks.

On my CD recorder I record everything in like on tape then divide the tracks later. Of course, I have the option to place a second or two of blank space but I don't. I'm sure DAWs and other soft recorders can do this too, but its all about no air space between tracks.

you do this after mastering each track individually.

you can do it in a daw if you want, or you could do it in one of those cd authoring softwares.
