2500/jjos free 3.10
Does jjos xl have the ability to bounce down sequences to a wav? I have no daw or a mixer and I want to bounce my beats...does xl have this feature? Thanks

Hi,

You can already do that with the free version. Go in REC mode and resample the main out (analog=>digital=>main out). Press REC and launch your sequence.

Peace

thanks for the reply, I know about this, but my resample sounds different than what plays straight from the MPC...you know what I'm saying? Just wondering if there was an option to bounce...thanks though

Not if you don't explain in detail.

Yep, that's it. Not a button that says "bounce" but it's the same thing.

Make sure the master output is set to OdB.

I set up my compression settings and it sounds great on the MPC, but when I record from the main out it sounds WAY different...I read that jjos xl can bounce sequences to new samples...does it do this?

what do you mean way different? if its quieter, like another user said, set your main outputs to 0db in the "other" menu

Yeah sounds like a psychoacoustic issue

Besides, if you use EQ and COMP on the master, turn them OFF after resampling.

Regarding JJOS2XL it has a mixdown function that does the same thing with less steps in song mode. You can try it for free or even buy it if you think that's what you need.

Is it possible you're resampling with the mastering compressor and EQ on, then replaying the sampled sequence through the comp and EQ again, getting double doses of each effect? If so, this could be the reason why it sounds different after resampling.
