quick tracking/FX question

hey, people, I'm new here, and somewhat new to the MPC1000. I hope this hasn't been asked yet, and I used the search function already, but ultimately, to no avail.

when I am tracking on the MPC1000, is there a reason why the FX that I set on the MPC do not transfer to my DAW? I get the individual .wavs in there fine, but the delay, or EQ for instance, do not transfer over. I suppose can just as easily add plugins to the raw files once in the box, but I'd like to know how to preserve what I set on the MPC. I've read through the manual, and didn't find anything on it, either.

Is this even possible?

Which MPC outputs are you using? The effects can only be routed to the stereo outs. The only way you can hear MPC effects on the other outputs is to resample from the main outs then route the new samples back through the auxiliaries.

it works like because it is assumed if you are multi-tracking out like that you will just use eq's and other fx externally since you would have a lot more control over them this way.

if you DO want to track out you can either solo/mute your tracks one by one through the main outs or do like homedude mentioned.

no. it´s a technical limitation of the mpc.

it's probably a little bit of both homey.
it makes sense to track out your sounds dry so you can add fx later.
when you record in a studio, you don't set up the fx on every track BEFORE the input - you'd be stuck with them then.

All the other boxes I've used that have stereo & aux outs work the same way.
