MPK mini pad assignment

Hey I just got the MPK mini today. I'm trying to assign drums to the pads in FL Studios but I'm having trouble. I assign a bass drum to the first pad and that's fine, but when I assign a snare to the second pad, all the pads play a bass and snare. When I click the pads in FPC (in FL) they make the separate bass and snare sounds, but when I hit the pads it makes both noises. Anyone have this problem before?

As you tap each pad on the FPC GUI look in the upper right corner. It will report which MIDI note number each pad is assigned to. If your custom template on the MPK pads matches those numbers pad for pad, you should be fine. I think you have 2 banks on that board so you can toggle for controlling all 16 FPC pads.

I looked at the FPC in FL and the upper left of the screen actually only shows the musical note assigned to the pad.
