I copped the EX and it's more than enough for me.

"mpc breathren" would suggest the other superior Akai product, DPS24, which is a direct competitor to the VS.

You're on the good way go for a VS! Heard about UAD plugs-in? FX are from Universal Audio... for those who know... it's theVS8F-3.I don't know bout the DSP24 FX, but man, if you're going to the VS24, try to add those VS8F-3 cards.
I've them working with my VS and with my P-T (on G5), it emulate UA1176,LA-2A, FAIRCHILD 670...

I would love to purchase an akai dps 24, however,thay just do not exsist. No company has them in stock. The dps 24 is my first choice. If akai gets their sheet together, then I will definitlly purchase their product.

I have an Vs-2400 cd for allmost 2 years now and I never had any problems with it ... Personally I thimk it`s superior to aka`s Dps..

Ypu can connect a computer monitor to it & it has a mouce ,there is an optional expandble input...

Edit optins to 100% + everything a computer edit program has + more

faders with motors so all the faders come back into position when loading up the project ... nice uhh?
