I did yesterday, Good sounding drums in it, over the weekend i will sit down and get a chance to work on something with them.

You can always use more drums, i was looking for some more drums to work with, this came along right on time!

The kicks have a good punch to them, i didn't demo the snares, but the claps are nice and snappy, the hi-hats are very clean sounding.

I'm not a drum pro or anything, but you know difference from garbage( the so called producers kits on e-bay) and this.

I do recommend this kit to all are looking a real good drum kit :nod:

Thanks for the kind words. TBH the sounds really come into play when you load them up into your MPC and begin layering them - just immediately realising there's no gain boost and all the sounds just work together without any tweaking. That's why I wanted to give out a program with the example layers so you can see how easy it is to experiment with them.

What I hope to do is come up with some additional 'layer PGMs' for all the owners of the pack to download for free - just PGM files that can be added to the existing sample directory that will load up some further customized layers, maybe with added effects, filters, eq etc, just to see how far we can take it with the 192 available sounds.

the demo sounds are really good, im gonna get this when i get the money! tutor, how did you go about making the frequency ranges unite so well with these sounds?

Can't take credit for that, it's that sound design genius Eddie Bazil that works that particular bit of magic. I believe he's working on an article to explain how he did it all.

BTW, the Infinity Kit is now compatible with all MPCs, there's SIMULT programs for MPC3000/2000/XL/60 and 'zone' with AKPs for the 4000 (thanks to Lampdog for helping with that one)

I can honestly tell you guys that LAYERING is the key to unlocking the full glory of the sounds. I didn't realize that at first, but after filling up zones of sounds (mpc 4000 layering) shit started banging in my sequence I had already going.

Just saying.

All the sounds we use are samples from somewhere, something, no not always from vinyl, they are still samples.

In what context are you referring to as "samples". Enlighten me.
