Hey all,
I'm thinking of purchasing a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to get my MPC to hook up with my Mac. I have read good reviews for it but never any specifically with the MPC. I don't have the 8 out expansion on mine so I would only be using the stereo out.
Would it be more reasonable to export tracks in mono to one input of the 2i2 or to export tracks in stereo via both outputs?
Should I just find something with line in instead?
Are there alternatives I should consider?
I also want to be recording guitar preferably I would be able to have the MPC producing sound on one input as well.

Looks like my buddy is going to be ordering one pretty soon here so we're just going to figure it out. Will let you guys know what I think about it though.
