I think the sound library will have to on point along with other features on the ren.Speaking to some people who have NI said right out the box the sound library pretty good.

What would be really dope and great for the community if a forum member that owns both Maschine and the Ren creates Ren keygroup and drum program files to play Maschine content. Then share these programs with forum members. This wouldn't violate any copyrights as the program files would just reference Maschine content on your drive. In simpler words....they won't work if you don't have Maschine's library installed on your computer. Program files without samples are very small and can be easily emailed or downloaded.

Yes that would be great news. Hopefully Akai's sound library is good as NI. Well see hopefully see the investment bare fruit.

I was looking at my Maschine library content. It would be very time consuming pull off.

I still have access to my 1.5 content but most of it moved since it was also included in a later install.
Mr Porter kits now show under Kits instead of Kits 1.5

Unfortunately that's probably the series of Sonivox stuff they will use instead of the high end good stuff Sonivox makes.

Sonivox Symphonic Collection is really nice but cost more than the Ren, twice as much to be exact.

The Producer series type stuff will be good for adding content and along the lines of the Loopmasters stuff they have used in the past.

No different from the tons of free stuff you can already find on the net.

Places like GC sell the bundled set of those libraries really cheap.
They target people just starting out. :(

The bundled sound library should be the least of people's concern.

The money maker for Akai will be repackaging, enhancing and selling all the Sonivox sounds separately.

I expect the Ren will ship with a reasonable amount of drum kits and instruments. But I also expect various libraries to be released in the future.....at a cost of course.
