Recording MIDI with Evolver Module

Input through was introduced with Akai V2.

The DSI Evolver has inputs for processing only, there is no input mixthrough option.

Elektron forums do not strike me as a reliable source for tech info, especially for other manufacturers gear. What kind of real tech would want to mess with a POS like the SidStation?

Nice blip. It's all sorted out now. As far as elektron-users forum goes, it's full of really helpful people who are always polite. I've never used sidstation but the machinedrum has been part of my setup for almost ten years now. Also you're right, the Evolver can only be used for processing audio.

I need to expand on this a little. Is it possible to save the input thru mode so every time I turn on my machine I won't have to change the setting?
