Happy July 4th,
Okay so I am determined to start using the synth more in the 4000. If you have other synths I can understand why you would not want to use it since it has a few knobs.
Myself and others want to know more about single cycle looping and just how to use the synth in the 4000. I started scouring the web for a synth programmer video that uses a synth similar to the one in the 4000. Well watch this (if you are a pro then ignore this)
The synth used is a monophonic analog and it has a few differences but he explains things well and should give you a good basis. Also note that the mpc4000 is actually more powerful than the realistic synth used in the video, because the mpc4000 can layer the sound in ZONES and can be POLYPHONIC. Part two is very good.
Part three of this guys series is great also because he starts using effects..effects that we have in our MPC4000's
cheers,
Ian
PS "hopefully you all have already watched Professorquack's video as a basic starting point....
