aksys and osx 10.7.4

i tried to load both 2.60 and 2.61 on my brand-spankin'-new macbook pro (osx 10.7.4) and i get error messages stating that "power pc programs aren't supported blah blah blah)" it's not essential with my mpc4k but it'd be nice to have as an option.

so...am i sol or doing something wrong? works fine on my pc w/ win xp.

The incompatibility with the old Mac architectures makes it a no go on the latest OS X versions like the error message said.

In this thread it was suggested to use vmware and run an older OS X to host Aksys.

10.7 has no Rosetta anymore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_%28software%29

This is the one of the reasons why my MBP is still on 10.6. I will keep a PC on OS XP too. Just to be sure

There is no solution only the work around mentioned. Use a virtual machine running osx 10.6.8 or lower or windows 7 or Xp. Or use a separate laptop running one of the operating systems above.
