My jjos has a feature where a moving cursor is used when playing samples. This is very useful when chopping. Anyone know if the Ren will have this feature?

mine doesn´t

but maybe the software is too buggy

I think Hes talking about the scrolling marquee. How the marquee scrolls over the waveform in the trim screen during playback.

This is at the top of the list of user feature requests over the years. The MPC 2500/1000 are the first MPCs with this feature due to the JJ OS. NI is adding it to Maschine OS 1.8. The complete feature set of the MPC Ren hasn't been released yet. But since this feature is common in the products above as well as other software-based samplers....I would lean towards its inclusion in the Ren if not initially than perhaps a future OS update.

Perhaps dedicate a thread polling forum members regarding their interest in this function. There was a poll regarding LCD graphic waveform editing which heavily influenced this feature being added to the Ren.
