2500 Won't Play Samples

What's good everyone!

Just got my brand new 2500 with exm128. Recording & chopping samples was the first thing I did. Got my samples ready, saved them all in CF card. I'm able to play them on Load Screen, but when I'm on the Program screen to map, there's no sound.. :shock:

Any ideas?

PS: It's a brand new mpc, so pads are good. And pads also work while chopping.

Well, I've recorded samples with MPC. They should be 16bit 44.1 anyway right? And I'm able to preview them on load screen.

If the pads work in Trim, and you're getting sound out in Trim and Load, it must be something up with the Program.

Sure you haven't done anything daft like set Lvl to 00? Checked the "faders" are up on the Mixer screen? Got filters in the program set to cut everything? Got Mute off in the Main screen?

a brand new 2500? where did you pick that up, and for how much? i know there has to be some out there but the 2500 has been discontinued for a few years now..

Armen's Music Shop in New York has 'em brand new out the box.

P.S: stands for read the fukin manual, brand new mpc must come with brand new manual :wink:

Are you hitting a pad for the sound to be assigned to when you're loading the sounds..?
