about 7 of my pads are dead on my mpc1000 and instead of fixing it, i'd like to know if i could still chop samples on the mpc 1000 and then trigger those sounds on my microkorg and record/sequence the triggered sounds back onto the mpc 1000?
its a 180 of how the 2 machines usually work together, but hopefully this could be done so i can still make beats until i can save some cash up to fix the 1000.
i dont have the midi cables yet, but would it work like this?:
mpc1000 midi in -> microkorg midi out
microkorg midi in -> mpc1000 midi out
mpc 1000 audio cables -> mixer in
