American MPC3000(120v 60hz) in the UK(230v 50hz) Question

I was a student in IAR in new york, graduated and stated 2 years in states buying music equipment and making music. I am now back at home in the Uk and i brought back my MPC3k and i have noticed it is 120v 60hz. I want to buy a step down transformer from 230v to 120v, this will not change the hz, so myquestion is will the mpc get damaged or not work properly if i supply it with ony 50hz o eletcricitiy. i have researched on the internet but cant find any info on this?
