Rare Library and Soundtrack records for sampling & listening

Hello crate diggers. I have a stash of about 100 rare, desirable library and foreign soundtrack records. If you don't know what library music is, it's entirely instrumental music with tons of potential for sampling, and also great for listening to on a rainy day. A lot of it is really amazing music.

Yeah, you need money to buy what I'm selling. I've had past customers spend $5-600 per order. So if you guys know anyone who has some money to spend for desirable wax, feel free to send them my way. I also offer discounts on large purchases.

I'm currently building a website that will display some of the records I have for sale. I'll post that when it's live. Peace.

Well, I'm working on adding snippits to my site so you can hear before you purchase. It's a lot of work though.

wow those prices are ridiculous, did a search on a few of the records youre asking hundreds of dollars for and found many of them at 1/4 of the price..

So what's your point? Go buy the cheaper ones then, I don't care. I'm selling these for what I feel they are worth, nothing more and nothing less.

I'm curious though, which ones did you find for "1/4 of the price" ? I would buy those immediately if I were you.

That is his point entirely. I appreciate you're pricing the records up at what you think they're worth but if they can be copped for cheaper than maybe your estimates are off (regardless of what sample value they may have).

Anyone savvy enough will run a discogs search to make sure they're not getting ripped off and will probably conclude that you were/are ripping them off.

BTW I'm just explaining how this reads to people viewing this thread. I have yet to do my own search.

Well maybe you should do your research before commenting about people being "ripped off". That's ridiculous.

For one, I cross reference every record I own with discogs. But to be quite honest, I feel people on discogs are also underselling the value of these records. So yes, compared to discogs my prices may be high. That is not a rip off. That is called not underselling the value of what you are selling.

Just because someone else is selling a record I own cheaper, doesn't mean I am going to sell it cheap. As I said, if you want to purchase cheap records, go look for cheap records.

I am patient and will wait for the right buyer to come along who really wants the records. I'm not in this to make a quick buck. I'm not in this to give records away for nothing. I'm in it to get a fair price for what I think they are worth, and also what I think they WILL be worth in the near future.

Let's just say this. I've been selling library and soundtracks for years. I've held some of the holiest of grails in my hands. Almost everything I sold a few years ago is now selling for double what I sold it for. I'm not stupid. That tells me that the prices are always increasing for these records. So I priced them on the high end because I feel they are worth it. In 10 years I guarantee my prices are going to seem cheap for some of these amazing records.

Anyone who feels I'm ripping people off, here's some advice. Stay away from my store. No one is breaking your arm to by my records. No one is forcing you to do it. Either you want to do business with me or you don't.

And finally, if you google search many of the records I have for sale, no one else on the internet is even selling them, including people on discogs. Meaning I can charge whatever the hell I want and feel they are worth. If someone comes along and undercuts my sale for a record I was selling for $100, and they sell it for $50, well more power to whoever does that and buys that record. I'm still going to charge my price because that's what I feel they are worth.

Oh, and I'm still waiting on proof that some of my $100+ records are selling for 1/4 the price. I find that hard to believe. But hey, I guess it is possible. Like I said, if you find that's the case, you better scoop those cheaper copies up as soon as you possibly can.
