wtf 16gb memory card only showing 2gb available on my mpc 10

ok...so i tried updating the os for my mpc1000 and it still only show two gigs of available space on my 16gb memory card i just purchased. i spoke to a tech rep at akaipro.com and he said my mpc 500 and 1000 can only handle up to 2gb cards. thats bs, my 500 is using a 8gb card no problemo. can anyone please help me out here? im kinda loosing my patience with this thing. i cannot get the card to show the full 16gb availble it only shows 2!!!!!!!! wtf??? please help me out somone. u can email me at [email protected]

if u have a square up card reader or something ill happily pay for some working tech support on this as long as i can get my 16gb card to work on my mpc1000

You're more likely to get a response if you don't double post, just be patient

did you try formatting the CF card inside the MPC?

You have to format the card in FAT32.

As far as I know, the 1000, the 2500, and any other mp that uses the flash card to save, can only handle a 2gb.. im not sure how the 500 can manage that..maybe im wrong
