Using The 500 To Trigger Sound Module

I need to use my 12 pads to trigger my Jv1010 sound module so I can sample my playing. I have a MIDI cable going from the 500 MIDI OUT into the modules MIDI IN as directed.Yet no sound. I know the cables work because I used a keyboard without issue. What gives??? Ihave the 500 set to MASTER

LOL@ The manual links though.Be clear though,I don`t want the 500 to do anything else but play tones from the sound module.I don`t wish to do anything fancy(control other gear).I need the AUDIO moreso than MIDI notes to be recorded.I messed my keyboard up by being neglectful and abusive(weed crumbs all over and spilling stuff).I don`t have bread to replace the keyboard now.It was 10 years old anyway.Roland RS5 with the brushed aluminum frame.Sexy!!!

I got the Jc outs plugged directly to monitors.I switched the pads to MIDI tracks and assigned them to channel ONE .The JV is on channel ONE as well.Still no dice.Damn Sam!!!

NEVERMIND EUREKA I GOT IT!!!!
