tracking out different tempos in cubase 4

so ive been able to manage my way around this little problem, but for this particular beat i need to know how to use different tempos when recording/tracking out
from the mpc 1000 into cubase 4. specifically the beat is in 2 bar measures at 98bpm, and at the 8th bar it switches to 188bpm for 2 bars, and then goes back to 98bpm. it does this maybe 3 times in the duration of the beat...does anyone know how to set the two different tempos in cubase so my beat will track out correctly? good looks!

I forget the exact Cubase terminology, but you can set up a tempo track to achieve what you want.

The more appropriate question is why do you want to do it though?

If it sounds exactly as you want it to in the MP just track it out as you normally would and keep a constant tempo in Cubase.
