MIDI delay

whats up? i dont ask many questions, but this has been botherin me for a bit.

if im using 3 or more sounds from my module in one song there's a delay on the sounds when it gets back to bar 1. So when the track starts over at 1 the sounds start late. any way to fix this problem? because it bugs the shi* outta me!

nah its called latency. this has to do with ur pc and soundcard. U need asio drivers for ur pc and that will improve it greatly. also shut all the programs and take any usb shit off when u are using midi with the pc. But ur best bet would be to cop a decent soundcard, like the maudio joints.

So what you are saying is that all of your modules are synced up until your loop comes back around to beat 1, bar 1, then you hear a slight delay.

You didn't really say that you were using a computer or not and didn't mention what MPC you use.

A little info on your setup may help.

aight im usin the mpc 2000. see but i dont think it has anything to do with the computer cause before i even had my laptop in the setup the midi was doing that. your right, thats what i meant. when it starts over at 1 theres a delay. but the rest is ok.

i got my mpc and module etc going into my mixer. from my mixer it goes into my tascam . its an 8 track recorder. from there i have the stereo out going into my laptop so i can record into cool edit and shi* like that.

but why would the soundcard have anything to do with what the module is doing?? if i use 2 instruments from the module its cool. when i reach 3 it starts to delay but not much. 4 and up theres a crazy delay. so it kinda keeps me from using many instruments from the module.

I'm willing to bet it's either a cheaply made module or a faulty product. Write the manufacturer, they should be able to help
