fat pads without pad uprage kit ?

i want to order fat pads for my mpc 1000.
will i be able to use them without the pad upgrade kit ?

If you got the first generation 1k (the blue and red version) than no without installing the pad upgrade kit first. The second generation (the black version) has the pad upgrade installed so your can swap the pads over.

Fiend i have black version but i though we have 2 blac version without pad upgrade and with upgrade ?

Check this video from mpcstuff, it will take you about 2 minutes to check to see if you have or not.

yes i have new version i also read a god tip;

''the old pads were separate from each other, so when you slightly move one, the others wouldn't move. The new pads are on one rubber piece under the faceplate, so if you move one the other pads around it move slightly ''

Not all black versions had the upgrade kit

if youre mp 1k has a black plate in the back then you have the upgrade. black mp with silver back doesnt...

i dont belive that only black back version have pad upgrade.

just follow this video about removing the front face plate - open it up and have a look (check out the MPC stuff video about installing pad upgrade kit to see if you have the right kind).. takes no time at all and all you need is a phillips head screwdriver

and afterwards, once you've finished probing around inside, you'll feel closer to your MPC than you ever did.

Doesn't always work, I did that and nothing moved. Easier to open it and check
