Is the mpc 2000 good for boom bap?
I want to buy an mpc and i want to make boom bap rap
So mpc 2000 is a good choise or I must buy 2000xl

For sampling which turntable is best belt or direct drive
And what type of headshell must i use to take the most of the sample

Fidelity wise, Belt drive is supposed to be better but, you will find 99.99% of people use a direct drive deck as this allows you to scratch and reverse spin the platter.

Cartridge wise is a matter of opinion. a HiFi cartridge will give the best sound but is less likely to cope with reverse spinning so many people compromise with a high end DJ cartridge although the variations of the Stanton 500 are very popular and will likely do you fine.
