Recording Time to Low

I want to Record my Squence but the MPC shows me that i have only 14 seconds to Record.
How can I push this Time ( I have an Hard Disk inside my MPC and would to save it their)
How i can i do this

if you've only got 14 seconds of recording time remaining, you've obviously got way too many samples in memory that most likely aren't being used... i'd start be attempting to PURGE the unused samples... search for the PURGE function in your manual if you don't know what i'm talking about...

or to state the more obvious... get the 128MB RAM upgrade if you haven't already...

But theres nothing on my Memory Card i have removed all to my HD and it´s still only 14 seconds to record

It's sounds like you're making the mistake of thinking the MPC records to Disk or CF like a computer would.

Everything has to be done in RAM. The whole project just gets Saved down to CF or Disk when you do Save. There isn't any ongoing disk access like you'd think

If you haven't got the 128 Mb card in you are going to find things a bit limiting.

Hmm then i must buy the expansion but thanks for the try

when you turn on your MPC it will say how much RAM you have installed on the screen... if you have 16mb, you need to upgrade to 128mb.

if you do already have the RAM upgrade installed, and you have that little memory available at startup... then chances are that you have a bunch of files set to auto-load upon startup which you need to deactivate... you'll get the hang of your MPC soon.
