Any style of electronic music can be achieved with a mpc with ease but it can also be done with software with ease depends what approach u want to take.....hands or no hands?

I had a lot of success using a miniak synth along with my mpc. The mpc would do the drums and samples and sequence the miniak all at the same time. That synth was 8 voice multi-timbral so I could do a lot with it and it was fun tweaking the synth while the tracks were playing live.

So yes, you can do any kind of electronic music with an mpc as long as it is sample based. Otherwise, get some outboard gear and sequence it with the mpc. It has an awesome sequencer!!!! Take advantage of the way it loops back through the sequence in overdub mode and the track mute feature, you can build your song part by part live in front of the audience. That was fun to do!

Search youtube for anchorsong. Although I think he cheats a little, the concept is very good!

It is not easyier to make a synth or lead sound on the Pc copy it to the MPC make the Drums and SFX there Master it Record on the Pc or copy it and add more sounds and cut it (I have already an MPC)
