Logic MTC sync issue

I have the 2kxl hooked up to logic 9. I use mtc to sync them and when i hit record in logic it triggers the 2kxl and starts to record. The problem is the mpc jumps to the middle of the sequence when it starts playing. I tried adding blank bars but it still jumps to the middle of the sequence. Seems like the longer the sequence the farther in it jumps into the sequence. anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

you might have pre or post roll on? search for that in your manual, should fix it.

also, when you record from your mpc to logic, make sure to start at zero instead of the first bar, this will help your mpc and logic catch up with each other and they should sync together perfectly for your tracking.
