Good Morning,
I have a Yamaha MG166CX and was recording with Stereo Out on a Tapedeck and/or Wavelab for a long time. Now I heard I can use the first 8 outs as direct outs ... I've got a very cheap M-Audio Delta 1010 and Cubase, cause I want to record for example my beat (First 8 Outs are MPC) and after that some other tracks while listening to the beat.
I've never recorded via multitrack before ...
Now my question:
Can I pre-listen to the recorded track on my speakers (Event 20/20), while I'm recording new stuff over the mixing console ? The problem is, that these speakers have only one XLR In and these are connected to the Stereo Out of the mixing console ...
And I don't know how I should record some scratches, synth or whatever after I finished the main beat ... Do I need a new mixing console with an option for that or is it possible with the mixing console I have?
Greets & thx in advance,
Funkaholic
Edit: Can noone help me? I'm really despairing with this problem
