In love with the Mpc 60I!

Just finished reading every post from the forum in the 60/3000 section. Almost got a 60I from a guy in Ny but was bought by someone else when more money was offered. So now Im bumbed. After reading so much about it
I really want to play on one. In the process of selling a 2000 to get more loot together. Ebay has a few but not sure prices. Does anyone know of any
for sale other than ebay? I know this should be in the sale section but thought I would post here first.

Yeah I checked those sites but to much money for me. There are some on ebay but I dont want to get ripped off. Dont really trust paypal anymore so...

id get cheap with maxed out everything tho you lose alot on the resale price once u upgrade these machines to be up to par with modern mpc's i dont care what anyone sais working with floppys is rediculous..
wouldnt care Mk 1 or 2

Thats funny. Ive been talking to the guy selling that mpc on ebay but he is slow to respond. He said he would sell it to me but hasnt responded back to me about info. I no longer have bank card so I stopped using paypal which is why I cant use the buy now option. So I asked for his info and im waiting back. His feedback looks good on ebay but not a huge number or replies. What do you guys think?

you besta chill....alot of shady folks on the bay..protect ya neck, but also take into account that its late and most folks swing a 9 to 5 so give him a minute to respond or hit em with a phone number and see if yall can talk one on one.

Yeah Ive known some people to get ripped off allot. Ill get his number and call. But I cant use paypal so I have to use another way. I want to get a good shape one with the upgrades. I would take a base one cheap and then upgrade but thats a good price. Im just afraid that someone else will get it it before I work it out.

Well gentleman, I went in on that mint mpc 60I with all the upgrades. $950 seemed like to good of a deal. What do you guys think? Also now I get to see if it even comes.. Haha. This is going to be great. But I did get the guys number and he called me at like 8am though. Damn I was dead asleep. Said it was mine so we will see. Now I just have to sell my mpc 2000 to recoup some of the money. =-\ I hope it doesnt take to long.

Good man, hopefully everyhing will work out for you. I got my 60 on ebay, and it was the same price, 950 with maxed out mem, SCSI, and 3.10. Also, I looked at that guys feedback before I posted it up here, and he had like 100%, so I felt comfortable tellin you to go for it. Everything shold go well, and you should be in biziness here soon. get at me if you have any quesitons about it once you get it.-peace

Thanks 12-bit-Prince. I will have questions Im sure. Used mpcs for awhile but never a 60 or 3000. Never even got to touch one. Always was bumbed about that. I know everyone says they all sound the same. But I just want to play with some 12bit. So thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. And Ill will post when I get it.
