any1 here using one of these? I'm in the process of updating gear and this guy is on my list. It's application will be for either master bus processing, or for individual samples. I can't justify getting the 'mastering plus' version based on it's price tag!

Supposed to sound like golden vagina juice, but Ive never heard it because its too much **** money. :fku: :fku: These guys bought an Earlybird when I was working in a music store. They said they loved it, but it ended up having to get sent in for warranty repairs that took forever. (Just a heads up)

staying tuned :smoker:
do you usually use it dry? or in parallel (as a send for example)? if id have money and room, id see myself using something like this, but not multiple instances, and probably not without some of the original mixed back in...

I've never heard it over a master bus but that may work. It works great over subgroups, individual channels and individual samples. Whether you use it as an insert or parallel process with it probably depends on what you're trying to do but neither way is better. I have one that I borrow locally. If I couldn't borrow it, I'd buy it. I've yet to try the mastering plus version though, even though I've seen and heard others using it. I will eventually try it. I think even the older one is unique.
