which SCSI port i need for the 2000

i thing i blast my scsi port with a parallel zip. now my mp freest wen i try to lode all. files.

i try a new zip drive bud i gut still the same problem.

i don't have enough cash for a new main board so i wont change the scsi port but i don´t now with one is the right.

parallel zip drive a parallel drive will not work with the mpc2000.

are you trying to load files from the zip drive only?

actually, you should be connecting a SCSI zip drive. has the termination switch and the scsi id switch. should be set to scsi id 5 and termination should be 0. use the correct zip drive to make sure the scsi port.

do a search on this forum for scsi zip drives to learn more.

Did you plug/unplug either of the drives into the SCSI while the mpc was switched on?
This could be the source of your problem.

sorry my englisch is not so gut... you mean if I plug/unplugt the drive wen the mpc wars on ? no I had switched off the mpc wen i change the driver.

thr akai support told me i need a new mother board / scsi port
