Making the MPC60 NOT crash?

Any one have any thoughts on this? I was looking all over the 60,it's a 3.10 os one to make it not crash.

what's happening:

monoevolver->MPC60 MPC60->monoevolver, if i record something then tweak the knobs too much(not while recording) I crash the mpc60, it stutters, and is just not responsive.

There's no way to block CCs are there? I tried to look everywhere Maybe I'm just slow though... gotta love old cpus...

You've created a MIDI feedback loop that will crash most things, not just the MPC60.
Switch off soft thru on the MPC60. That should do it.

I believe i switched it off and is still doing it.

wow it does seem simple though! i haven't really messed with midi in a while, i've become a midi retard! lol
