Hi there all, this is my first post.
I'd like to thank you all for the extensive info you've been sharing on this forum in the past years...I've been lurking in here for a long time, finding all the answers I needed, and more...

I have a MPC2500, running JJOS2XL v.3.14.
A novation remote 25
evolution U-control uc-33

All is midied up through a tapco 4x4.

I have a little understanding of midi notes and messaging, I have been messing around with it for about a year. I successfully managed to connect and run Reaper and MPC and controllers together, but I am now stucked on this particular issue...this is the JJOS manual page...

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/cc-mixer3.htm

What I understand from the manual, the CC messages numbers assigned to control the FX2 parameters have the priority over the same numbers applyed on the mixer/pan...

I successfully managed to control the FX2 over each Pad but not each Track(not even sure if possible to do, but that is my understanding of it all...)

I am now trying to figure out if it is possible to use a controller exclusively for the effect (FX2) and another one for the Mixer (Track/Pan). I'd like to be able to control Tracks/Pans with the UC-33 and control the FX2 with the Remote 25 in a live or recording enviroment.

Also, if anybody could make me clearer the part that explains about the Track mixer ( [Mode]+Pad4 ), it would be very appreciated...

I have looked on the forum of anything related, but could not find much in regards with my particular problem.

Thank you in advance for your help, and sorry if the question is been placed and answered before.

that would be great.
I know you can control pan and volume in the track mixer ([mode] pad4) with the Qlink sliders.
unfortunatley i havn't found out how to record it.
I guess you can't :|
Leading to the conclusion that there is no midi messaging here. seams to be not more than a control option.

Thanks for the answer -nin, that was my fear...
I like the versatility of mixing each pad, but I would love to be able to mix each track from an external controller, applying an effect to it as desired...it would be awesome for me. Using the 8 outs is the only option I guess, with each out sent into a track of a analouge mixer, then... shame no onboard effect is usable in that way!

New JJOS request?

You can record track mixer changes (quoting myself here):

Not so long ago I was scratching my head on automating track mixer and learned that it can be controlled and recorded (automated) via midi CC:

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/multi3.htm

CC 7: Volume (track volume)
CC 10: Pan (track panning)
CC 91: Reverb Depth (FX send)

Record these to your track (step edit or grid edit on MIDI track).
